When Biden was first elected there was all kinds of chatter about his shutting down the Keystone Pipeline. Some pundits said it didn’t matter, because all it does is send a low-grade crude to New Orleans, which is then sent over seas. Now with this leak in the Keystone they are saying that the price of gas is going up significantly. It seems to me that there is a missing piece in this puzzle.

Yes, this is for George from the South Side bragging up Joe Biden for getting the gas prices to reduce. Guess what, a year ago gas was so higher than ever. When Donald Trump was president, we had down to about $2 a gallon and then Joe Biden gets in and all of a sudden it’s close to $7 a gallon.

To South Side George, gasoline prices may have come down 50%, but they doubled since Trump was in office. I was paying less than $2 a gallon when Trump left office. Currently the cheapest price in New Lenox is $3.15. I’d say that’s well over 50% increase right now. So I don’t know where you get your figures at but your price is still high.

Not sure where people are shopping but I paid $2.94 for a gallon of milk today at Meijer and just paid $3.29 for a gallon of gas by my house. A commenter said he paid $6 for a gallon of gas and $7 for milk. And then, of course, finished story with how we need a strong leader and we need to bring back ex-president Trump. Not sure where you are but your gas or groceries at, and unless you’ve had your head buried in the sand lately, pretty sure your ex-president will be indicted in the next few months and for many different deceitful acts.

According to Mayor Lori Lightfoot, Chuy Garcia has no business being mayor of Chicago. He would be a distant second right behind Lightfoot herself, a hypocrite who questions political contributions he received but doesn’t mention those that she has received. She claimed she has returned some but not all and has decided to keep the rest. Chicago politics, don’t you just love it.
