Home Invasion
There was a home invasion in the 1400 block of Ridge Avenue in which a subject shoved the victim. Nothing was taken and no injuries were reported.
Residential Burglary
There was a burglary in the 700 block of Asbury Avenue on Dec. 3 in which tools were taken from a garage.

A bicycle was taken from a residence in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue on Nov. 30. Amount of loss is less than $500.
There was a burglary in the 1900 block of Hartrey Avenue it was reported on Dec. 4 in which a bicycle was taken. Amount of loss is less than $500.
A bicycle was stolen from a garage in the 800 block of Hinman Avenue in was reported on Dec. 5. Amount of loss is less than $500.
Packages were taken from a residence in the 2200 block of Foster Street it was reported on Dec. 2. Amount of loss exceeds $500.
Money was taken from a residence in the 1800 block of Norwood Court it was reported on Dec. 1. Amount of loss exceeds $500.
There was a burglary in the 1800 block of Ashland Avenue on Dec. 6 in which tools and a bicycle were stolen from a garage.
Retail Theft
Karin A. McGrier, 61, of the 2000 block of Dodge Avenue, Evanston, was charged with retail theft in the 900 block of Dodge Avenue on Dec. 7.
Vehicle Theft
A U-Haul rental vehicle was not returned to the 2100 block of Dempster Street on Dec 6 and was therefore reported stolen. It was later recovered in Vernon Hills.
A 2018 Hyundai with the keys inside was stolen from the 1200 block of Howard Street on Dec. 4.
A Hyunda was taken from the 1200 block of Howard Street with stolen keys on Dec. 4.
Shots Fired
There was a report of shots fired in the 400 block of South Blvd on Dec. 5 but responding officers did not find anything.

Battery
Kelly K. Musgjerd, 33, of the 1000 block of Locust Road, Wilmette, was charged with battery in the 1000 block of Central Street on Dec. 5.
Domestic Battery
Arijit U. Biswas, 28, of the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue, Evanston, was charged with domestic battery in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue on Dec. 3.
DUI
Jacqueline Gomez, 46, of the 200 block of Richmond Street, Evanston, was charged with DUI in the 2100 block of Cleveland Street on Dec. 3.
