Holiday fun: You simply can’t beat the Republican party for entertainment, especially during the holidays when the alternative is viewing yet another tiresome Hallmark movie. Watching their membership circle the wagons every time Donald Trump gets embroiled in another scandal is simply priceless.
Biden’s bolstered NATO: Since the war in Ukraine began this year, the U.S. has committed $12.9 billion in military aid and has asked Congress for an additional $13.7 billion. Thirty-four other countries, plus the European Union, have committed money to the war effort. Thanks to Biden’s efforts, NATO is vastly stronger, and Sweden and Finland have asked to join NATO as well. What a weak response, right?
Bank of grandma and grandpa: This message is for Donna Vickroy. Read your column about grandparents, really great. Laughed a lot, too. But you miss something. You say grandparents are also the ATM of the college groups. It seems that they’re also the ATM of the high school groups and also the grade schools. So you see, grandparents are also in the banking business.
Quite a scenario: The only way Chicago will become safe is that if everybody should move out and leave the city vacant? And where will the gangbangers go?
Blasting MAGA GOP: The MAGA Republicans only believe in destroying democracy and America. They won’t get anything done instead of investigating Biden and the Democrats. Marjorie Taylor Greene is just carrying the water for Trump. She can’t think on her own. Kevin McCarthy is a coward and spineless and will do whatever for the MAGA Republican puppet masters pulling his strings. He will be remembered as the worst speaker and a liar.
Enough with the bad news: I do not want cold and flu statistics plastered on the front page in giant letters. It won’t change the people who don’t want to get the vaccinations. Headlines won’t change them, but negativity affects us all. I don’t want all bad news all the time. It will wither your heart and soul.
Ready to fix country: The Republicans that are going to control the House are working for the American people because they’re looking to get rid of whose who have taken this country down in the last two years. We didn’t have this crisis the four years before Biden stepped in. The first step in getting rid of crime is getting rid of the criminals. Were you this outraged when the Democrats went after Donald Trump with ridiculous claims twice for impeachment and now they’re wasting time trying to accuse Trump of nonsense again.
