The following items were taken from the Evanston Police Department bulletin. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
Vehicle Theft
A 2018 Hyundai was stolen from the 900 block of Crain Street it was reported on Nov. 21.
A 2017 Hyundai was stolen from the 1100 block of Fowler Avenue on Nov. 22.
A 2019 Hyundai with the keys inside was stolen from the 1400 block of Brown Avenue on Nov. 24.
A 2008 Lexus with the keys inside was stolen from the 2700 block of Crawford Avenue it was reported on Nov. 23.
A 2015 Ford Explorer with the keys inside was stolen from the 2000 block of Wesley Avenue it was reported on Nov. 26.
A 2020 Nissan with the keys inside was stolen from the Autobarn vehicle lot in the 2200 block of Autobarn Place on Nov. 2 but was recovered in Chicago on Nov. 18. No arrests were reported.
A 2009 Toyota with the keys inside was stolen from the 2300 block of Howard Street on Nov. 25.
A 2012 Hyundai was stolen from the 900 block of Hinman Avenue it was reported on Nov. 22 but was later recovered in Evanston.
A 2016 Hyundai was stolen from the 700 block of Michigan Avenue it was reported on Nov. 22.
A 2020 Hyundai was stolen from the 500 block of Hinman Avenue it was reported on Nov. 27.
Attempted Vehicle Theft
The steering column of a 2011 Hyundai parked in the 300 block of Darrow Avenue was damaged in an attempt to steel the vehicle it was reported on Nov. 22.
There was the attempted theft of a 2013 Hyundai in the 300 block of Keeney Street it was reported on Nov. 22. The car was not taken but the steering column was damaged in the attempted theft.
There was an attempt to steal a 2017 Hyundai from the 500 block of Greenwood Street it was reported on Nov. 22. The car was not stolen but its steering column was damaged.
There was an attempt to steal a 2018 Hyundai from the 1400 block of Hinman Avenue it was reported on Nov. 22. The car was not stolen but its steering column was damaged.
Armed Robbery
There was an armed robbery in the 300 block of Sherman Avenue on Nov. 22 in which the victim was robbed of their phone at gunpoint. No injuries were reported.
Animal Cruelty

Filippo Mongiardini, 24, of the 1700 block of Ridge Avenue, Evanston, was charged with animal cruelty in the 1700 block of Ridge Avenue in Golf on Nov. 22.
DUI
Sungsoo Lim, 32, of the 800 block of Reba Place, Evanston, was charged with DUI in the 800 block of Reba Place on Nov. 19.
Battery
Samuel J. Ardito, 40, of the 1100 block of Grove Street, Evanston, was charged with battery in the 1900 block of Dempster Street on Nov. 21.
Kiuni R. Glenn, 33, of the 1400 block of Greenleaf Street, Evanston, was charged with battery in the 1400 block of Greenleaf Street on Nov. 27.
Theft Over $500
A cellphone was stolen from a locker at Evanston Township High School on Nov. 18. Amount of loss exceeds $500.
Shots Fired
There was a report of shots fired at South Blvd and Elmwood Avenue on Nov. 22 but responding officers did not find anything.
There was a report of shots fired in the 1800 block of Hartrey Avenue on Nov. 21 but responding officers did not find anything.
There was a report of shots fired at Lake Street and Asbury Avenue on Nov. 18 but responding officers did not find anything.
Disorderly Conduct
Nathan U. Appleberry, 32, of the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue, Evanston, was charged with disorderly conduct at the Evanston police department in the 1400 block of Elmwood Avenue on Nov. 18.
Violation of an Order of Protection
Miguel Fojas, 32, of the 600 block of Sheridan Road, Evanston, was charged with violation of an order of protection in the 800 block of Ridge Avenue on Nov. 19.
Jason King Braganza, 45 and homeless, was charged with violation of an order of protection in the 2500 block of Ridge Avenue on Nov. 23.
Criminal Damage to Property
Karla F. Rodriguez, 38, of the 1400 block of Ridge Avenue, Evanston, was charged with criminal damage to property in the 700 block of Asbury Avenue on Nov. 20.
Residential Burglary
Money was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Dodge Avenue it was reported on Nov. 26. Amount of loss exceeds $500.
Theft
A secured bicycle was stolen from a yard in the 900 block of Gaffield Place it was reported on Nov. 21. Amount of loss exceeds $500.
A secured bicycle was stolen from a yard in the 800 block of Hamlin Street it was reported on Nov. 20.
Domestic Battery
Jesse J. Berger, 31, of the 2500 block of Jackson Avenue, Evanston, was charged with domestic battery at the Evanston police department in the 1400 block of Elmwood Avenue on Nov. 22.
Retail Theft
Paul J. Comitz, 57, of the 1800 block of Parkside Avenue, Park Ridge, was charged with retail theft in the 2400 block of Howard Street on Nov. 23.
Marvin Gutierrez-Garundo, 21, of the 37000 block of North Route 59, Lake Villa, was charged with retail theft in the 2200 block of Oakton Street on Nov. 22.
