Battery
Gabriela Raia, 23, of the 6000 block of Lake Avenue, West Palm Beach, Fla., was cited for battery in connection with a road rage incident at 3:33 p.m. Nov. 17
In the same incident, Mark Okoniewski, 62, of the first block of Colonial Court, Streamwood, was cited for disorderly conduct.
Cindy Guarin, 34, of the 200 block of East Fremont Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged with two counts of domestic battery at 7:27 p.m. Nov. 19.
Deceptive practice
A resident reported Nov. 17 that a mailed check was altered and deposited in an unknown ATM, but was canceled before any money was lost.
A representative of WIN Auto Plaza, 704 W. Lake St., reported on Nov. 17 that a woman purchased a vehicle using a fictitious name and fraudulent check.
DUI
Dionta Hebron, 28, of the 1900 block of South Springfield Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence and illegally stopping where prohibited at 3:13 a.m. Nov. 19.
Erin Matthias, 21, of the 21700 block of South Coleen Court, Shorewood, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lighting and driving without insurance at 3:07 a.m. Nov. 19.
James O’Connor, 61, of the 400 block of East Huntington Lane, Elmhurst, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and improper lane use at 11:06 p.m. Nov. 19.
Jesus Flores, 38, of the 5700 block of West Pershing Road, Cicero, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use at 2:42 a.m. Nov. 20.
False police report
Salamon Alexander, 22, of the 6500 block of South Morgan Street, Chicago, was charged with disorderly conduct — falsifying a crime at 8:46 p.m. Nov. 20 after police responding to a request for assistance for a stolen wallet determined no robbery had taken place.
Identity theft
A resident reported on Nov. 19 that an unknown offender opened several credit card accounts in his name in May. The resident froze his accounts with no money lost.

A resident reported Nov. 18 that a check he mailed about a week earlier had been altered and cashed by an unknown suspect.
A package was reported stolen Nov. 16 from a residence on Elm Creek Drive.
An unsecured blue Schwinn bicycle was reported stolen from where it was left leaning against the north wall of the 7-Eleven, 525 Spring Rd., between 11:50 a.m. and noon, Nov. 22.
Theft by deception
A resident reported Nov. 20 that she responded to a friend’s emailed request to buy an Amazon e-card and send the card information. She later learned the friend’s email had been hacked.
Traffic
Maria Ibarra, 57, of the 1600 block of St. Charles Road, Maywood, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, driving without insurance and driving with suspended registration at 4:30 a.m. Nov. 17.
Kerwin Luengo-Diaz, 32, of the 800 block of North Christiana Avenue, Chicago, was cited for unlawful use of an electronic communication device while operating a motor vehicle, driving without a valid driver’s license and driving without insurance at 5:03 p.m. Nov. 20.
After allegedly fleeing from an attempted traffic stop, John Richard, 41, of the first block of King Arthur Court, Northlake, was taken into custody by Northlake police, transported to Elmhurst and charged with fleeing/eluding, driving with a revoked driver’s license, possession of cannabis, driving without insurance, disobeying a traffic control device and improper lane use at 3:05 p.m. Nov. 21.
