Let them drive to work
I agree with “Details, details.” Taxpayers should not have to pay for any security on anybody — Pelosi or any politician. We waste so much money on all these security people for these people. If they want to be in office, let them pay for it themselves. They make the big money. That’s ridiculous. The other thing we could save money on are all the cars and drivers that we waste on these people. Let them drive to work like most people do. You know, this is ridiculous. We waste millions and millions of dollars every year — probably billions — on all this security. Let’s stop that, and see how they like it. See if they’d even want to be a politician anymore if they didn’t have all the extras.
Turn back the clock
Just a quick comment to the person who said Lincoln was a famous Republican. You do realize that 160 years ago the GOP was quite progressive and much more like the Democratic Party of today, right? I couldn’t agree with you more. Let’s turn back the clock, and get in line with people who don’t live in an alternate reality.
Do your job
I see in the paper that man was found guilty of a 2019 murder, he might get 60 years and the sentencing won’t be until maybe January. What is wrong our court system? Why didn’t the judge just sentence him right there and then? Why are we wasting all this time? And why is he getting 60 years, and not the death penalty? Everybody’s just, “Yeah, you can kill anybody and you might get life and, with good behavior, you get off early.” What a crock. And the fact that it took three years to have this trial, what a crock. Get these judges to start doing their job.
Not free
Freedom is not free. It was paid for by the blood of a soldier. Spiritual freedom is not free. It was paid for by the blood of a Savior.
