Results reflect society: As we reminisce the 2022 election, there are all sorts of reasons for the results. Consider some of the issues: abortion, crime, inflation, economy, oil prices, election 2020 deniers, gerrymandering, gun control, police support, campaign spending, party loyalty, etc. The results were a mix of how the voters weighed in on the many issues. A majority of the elected candidates won easily while others had very close margins. Voting is the voice of democracy!
Voters did good: Hooray for the American voter! Instead of punishing the party in power for inflated grocery prices, you chose the better option of protecting our democracy. To be sure, it’s a proud moment in this country’s history.
Fall of the U.S. Empire: Our nation is doomed with the current trend of voting for the killing of the unborn, unprotected borders, high taxes, gas shortages, making heroes of the sexual immoral and all the other policies that are destroying this country. History is being repeated and we are modern-day Rome.
Voting for democracy: When I voted, Roe v. Wade, crime, inflation and gas prices did not enter the equation. My number one priority was to vote for the candidates who would fight to preserve our democracy and republic against the candidates who would seek to destroy it by spreading lies and propaganda about our free and fair elections. I voted Democrat up and down the ballot and was proud to see so many people in Illinois and nationally do the same.

Paying for U.S. products: To the person who bought the refrigerator that broke four times, the conclusion I draw is that you, like many Americans, want USA-made, quality products at Chinese-made prices. That will not happen in the U.S. because we pay a living wage. You could have bought an Amana product made in Iowa, but it probably cost more.
Powering electric cars: Why do people think electric cars need charging stations at the place the drivers reside? Gas-powered cars need to be refueled at a gas station so I would think you’d just find a charging station for electric cars.
