Loose bricks
While the Waukegan power structure remains frozen in fear of blame over the historic Sheridan Road wall, parts of it are disappearing. All of the loose bricks at both crash sites of the wall are gone, no doubt taken by people encouraged by Ty Rohr’s suggestion to take them as souvenirs. Is this the game Waukegan’s gonna play, stall until the wall suffers demolition by neglect?
Any other issues?
With all the television commercials about abortion, incest and rape, I don’t know if there are any other issues that are important to this country.
No enforcement
Why do we have “No parking at any time” signs in Waukegan? Does that mean I get a ticket if I park there? Who is responsible if there is an accident involving an illegally parked car and a vehicle traveling down the street? The city? The police department? Or the driver of the car? At the corner of Glen Flora and McAree, at Glenwood Elementary School, there are a minimum of 40 cars parked illegally on the street each afternoon to pick up students. Pedestrians are crossing the road, children are running between cars and vehicles are driving down the street. This scenario creates a high probability of an accident, but no enforcement of the parking regulation is provided.
Who’s to blame?
Walgreens and CVS settling opioid lawsuits for filling prescriptions they should have flagged as inappropriate? Do pharmacists go to medical school? Doctors write prescriptions that are not needed, insisting I take them. Friends tell me to fill them and they’ll buy them from me. Multiple doctors nowadays due to there being specialists for everything. Parents reach for medicine automatically without regard to interactions or necessity. Who is really to blame for opioid crisis?
The fires below
Trump is the one who has caused the destruction of our democracy. Trump is the reason there is division in our country. Trump is the reason there is hate and violence in every state, and in every city. Social media is promoting it in high gear. He and his supporters who have been conned by the biggest con man Trump continue to destroy our country, the Constitution and our democracy. Trump and his sheeple continue with their lies, denial of defeat, bullying, racist and bigoted remarks, and violence. Those who follow this cultist named Trump are being led into hell by the devil himself. There is no room for these hateful people in heaven. Thank God for that, because I will truly be in heaven the day I don’t have to deal with these destroyers of humanity. Trump and his followers are an embarrassment to the United States. Good grief people, wake up before you get burned by the fires below.
Hypocritical and hateful
It looks like country singer Luke Bryan is being savaged by the Twitter universe for bringing Ron DeSantis up on stage at his Florida concert. What would you expect from a tolerant, coexistent, hate has no home here, love is love, everyone is human, virtue signaling, sign-putter-outers. Every time you see a coexist bumper sticker, it’s from an intolerant, doesn’t want to coexist with anybody that doesn’t agree with them hypocrite who has no mirror in their house so that they don’t see their inner self reflected as it truly is: hypocritical and hateful.
This has to stop
What can’t these politicians figure out? People from 159 countries have jumped the border coming over here already, and we don’t have enough citizens to support all of them. This has to stop. It should have stopped three years ago.
