Facets’ Chicago International Children’s Film Festival: The 39th annual festival features 30 screenings of short and feature-length animated and live-action films spread across five venues. Highlights include the U.S. premiere of “Dostojee,” which follows two boys divided by the growing conflict between Hindus and Muslims in a rural Indian village, and “The Last Election and Other Love Stories,” a documentary set in Times Square during the 2020 presidential election.
