ATTEMPTED BURGLARY
Three unknown individuals knocked on the door of a residence in the 700 block of Juneberry Lane and attempted to enter the home Oct. 10. They fled when they realized the home was occupied.
DUI
Christian Anthony Poeppel, 31, of the 1600 block of West Belmont Avenue in Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license and speeding Oct. 8. He was stopped near the intersection of Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Nov. 9 in Waukegan.
Deveon Dlee Mitchell, 23, of the 1400 block of East 55th Place in Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding Oct. 10. He was stopped near the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Chicory Lane. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court in Waukegan

WARRANT APPREHENSION
Toya R. Mike, 41, of North Chicago, was apprehended on a warrant for failure to appear on a domestic battery charge Oct. 5. During a routine traffic stop near the intersection of Waukegan Road and North Avenue, police learned Mike was wanted on the warrant. She was unable to post bond and was transported to the Lake County jail.
