The House committee investigating the Jan 6, attack on the U.S. Capitol announced they are postponing what likely would be their last scheduled hearing on Sept. 28, due to Hurricane Ivan’s landfall in Florida, and plans to announce a date for the postponed proceedings. What does a hurricane in Florida have to do with postponing their work in Washington D. C.? Sounds to me like they are using Hurricane Ivan to their advantage because they didn’t want to compete with all the news coverage that Florida would be getting.
The real propaganda
In a recent article published by the News-Sun, columnist Charles Selle claimed that the Lake County Gazette newspaper was merely propaganda. Has Mr. Selle ever seen the New York Times or the Washington Post? Both of these national newspapers are propaganda. Does anybody know the last time the Washington Post endorsed a Republican candidate for president of the United States? This is a trick question because the answer is never. The mainstream print media is propaganda.
How stupid?
So, armed Russian soldiers show up at the doors of occupied Ukranians with a ballot box, and force them to vote to be annexed to Russia. I imagine that the corrupt Democrats think that this would be a great way to vote here. Then, the illegitimate socialist puppet tells us that the gas prices have gone down when they are actually going back up since his treasonous scheme of selling our oil reserves to China has failed. Finally, Klobocher comes on TV and tells us that if we vote for Democrats, they will stop hurricanes. How stupid do these people think that we are?
Preserve history
This wall should not be removed. It is part of Waukegan history. We removed the building at Washington and West Street, which should never have happened. Waukegan has a rich history, an industrial town that served many people well. We need to preserve this history.

Have you forgotten the dead American bodies that had to be stored in refrigerated in semis in New York during the COVID pandemic, all during the Trump COVID-denial administration? Over a million American deaths total due to Trump’s negligence. Get off Fox News, it’s making you brain-dead and giving you tunnel vision, along with all the other sheeple following Fox and Trump.

These old movies are surprisingly similar to the present time. Do you want this in your future?

Maybe Pritzker should have paid down some of Illinois pension debt. A lot people did not really need an extra $400, myself included. Funny, a check comes just before an election.
