That bridge is a joke
You know that Long Grove bridge that they just put a new name on? We’ve got idiots down there that are too afraid to raise the bridge up a couple of feet, just to protect it if nothing else from idiots that drive under it. That bridge is a joke. People are getting sick of seeing it needing to be repaired.
Foot the bill
Initially, I thought it was a hoot when southern governors were sending immigrants to sanctuary cities like Chicago. Ideally, they should have been flown back to Venezuela, Mexico or wherever, not farther inland. Hypocrite Lightfoot doesn’t really welcome them. Instead she whines and complains self-righteously about Gov. Abbott, and then buses them off to the suburbs. Pritzker says, “They have done nothing wrong,” except not follow procedures like 800,000 others who have come here legally. Remember, citizens will foot the bill through higher property and income taxes.

Not the GOP
In response to “A woman’s Choice”: It isn’t a woman’s choice to be raped by a relative or a stranger. It is a woman’s choice to terminate her pregnancy when the fetus has fatal defects, such as not having a skull. The decision is up to the woman, not the Republican Party. It is a decision that is between a woman and her doctor.
Love until you are born
I find it admirable the concern some people display for unborn fetuses. They fear for their well-being, from contraception up until birth. Unfortunately, that’s where the concern ends. Rape and incest victims do not merit their concern. Immigrants were once fetuses too. Now they are to be feared and scorned. Gay people, trans people, people of color, all seemingly have lost the concern of the fetus wardens. They love you until you’re born.
Put up a sign
Long Grove needs to put up a “no trucks allowed” sign, that warns of a $10,000 fine and five days in jail for hitting the bridge.
New study needed
If an EV and the same type of gas car were both involved in an accident and had the same damage, then how much would the cost difference be in repairs? Haven’t heard that study yet.
Save the wall
Save the brick wall, and fire the carpetbagger school administrators.
