A 10-year-old boy riding his bike at the intersection of Bailey Road and Coach Drive was badly injured Thursday morning in a hit-and-run collision, Naperville police said.
The female driver of a silver sedan believed involved in the 7:05 a.m. crash is being sought by police, a news release said.
The child was taken to a local hospital for “treatment of significant but non-life-threatening injuries,” the release said.

Police did not know the make or model of the car that struck the boy other than the driver was described as a woman and the vehicle last seen heading east on Bailey Road from Coach Drive, the release said.
