So King Biden declares student loan rebates for current students $10,000. So who is the dictator now? What a sham. He cannot take care of the most important thing going on in the country first — such as crime, gas, inflation, border control. I can go on and on. Also Jan. 6 will go forever, but the country can suffer without any real direction. That is why loan forgiveness is more important than the lives of working people. How about raising Social Security so people on a fixed low Social Security can get an increase for a real cost of living not just pennies on the dollar? Secondary insurance goes up every year while Social Security stays the same. Students who have loans should be working to pay off any loans — just like everyone else. This is what Socialist countries do, not Americans.

Yes, I can see old Mayor Lightfoot is putting her foot in her mouth once again. Pay raise with risk for all the aldermen must decide on 9.6 to increase. They are going to be making over $100,000 each. What do they do for that amount of money? And Lightfoot, don’t say you can’t do nothing about it. You’re in charge of them. You’re pathetic lady. You’re wanting to raise property taxes and taxes on the people, and yet you’re going to give everybody a 10 % raise. Come on people, get her out of there and get rid of all them all over there. Give me $60,000 a year, and I bet you I could do a better job than any one of them.

It’s funny all those people that complain about us don’t realize that oil is a finite resource.

This concerns the forgiveness of federal loans to college students. I don’t think it’s fair that I should have to pay for these loans. I’m happy to pay for my granddaughter’s loans that she accumulated because she could not get federal aid. It’s not fair. It’s not fair to me. It’s not fair to anybody else and these students that got loans through commercial sources. I think everybody should pay off their loans themselves — no government bailout.
