Reduction Act will help: After reading negative comments about the Inflation Reduction Act, I wanted to know if they were true. I did some research and found a paper written about it by Knowledge at Wharton at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. What I am finding is the opposite is true. The study said, “The Inflation Reduction Act will boost energy security, health care and tax revenues.” Researchers “estimated that the Act will have minimal impact on inflation but in the long run will lead to lower government debt, higher wages, higher total factor productivity and higher GDP.”
Foolish mistake: With four separate investigations swirling around the disgraced ex-president, it should be obvious to even Donald Trump that running for president would be the most foolish mistake of his already scandalous life.
Building union support: Coming from a union family and being a member of two unions, I am puzzled by unions’ pressure for everyone to be in the union. It would seem a better way to get people to join would be to apply the negotiated provisions of union contracts only to union members. That should be a provision of all contracts. How long would an employee remain nonunion if the guy next to him is making more than he is because of union membership?
Take politics out of it: If you are a Republican and believe you would want Joe Biden’s head on a platter if you learned he was storing top-secret government documents in his home, then the same must hold for Donald Trump. Wrong is wrong, regardless of political party.
Acting like a president: Joe Biden’s isn’t a media sensation and if he was behaving corruptly, it would have been exposed. If you look hard, you’ll find he is doing those things presidents are required to do, and without much fanfare, such as dealing with the topics of the Ukraine, NATO, energy, tax laws, prescription drugs, gun laws, education, imports, baby formula and many other day-to-day events. What fanfare the media has created is the illusion that he is to blamed him for the recession and high oil prices when these are global problems that he has very little power to exert a change.
