Many contributors to Speak Out have blamed individuals who have been killed or injured by police for not complying with the authorities. All you have to do, according to these commenters, is to submit to lawful authority. But after attacks on the Capitol Police, failure by the politically connected to submit to legal subpoenas, and a former president’s thievery of top-secret documents, they say nothing. I guess those that don’t comply with authority are OK as long as they share the same political agenda.

We recognize their names: CPD officers Ella French, Carlos Yanez Jr., Dan Golden. Now a small, vocal group protesting actions of Flossmoor police seems to be suggesting that an officer must die or be paralyzed as proof that — in this case — a knife-wielding assailant was actively threatening them. Perhaps protesters should speak to the knife-wielder’s female relative who called police in fear and — when they arrived — yelled: She’s trying to kill me!

Yeah, I just read in the paper about the governor wanting to sell off the abandoned Damen silos. Doesn’t it seem funny to you people out there with these Democrats in there when Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Gov. J.B. Pritzker get together and all of a sudden they want to sell these silos. I hate to say it, Pritzker is a crook. He tried to cheat the state of Illinois at the money paying for the taxes on that house that he took the toilet out. Now I hope people investigate and find out who these people are that want to buy it. When they buy them and find out if they have any connections with Pritzker or Lightfoot.

The liberal “The Week” magazine proudly highlighted Biden’s huge achievement of lowering gas prices 57 straight days to an average national price of $4.01 per gallon. This was down a dollar from mid-June. Sounds great but never forget that during Trump’s administration that national average was well-under $2.50 per gallon and our economy was booming. Do ya’ still believe Biden’s great?
