I’d like to give a shout out to all the performers in “Something Rotten!” performed at the Oak Lawn Park District. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. It was great. We need more of this. It was pure delight.

Two new hotels have been given a tentative OK by Tinley Park to build at Interstate 80 and La Grange Road. They will be needed when the illegal immigrants are sent up here from our southern border.

A car full of guys in Dolton make a poor decision and flee from the police in a vehicle. The vehicle driver crashed the car and one person is killed and a second injured. A jury finds that it’s the fault of the police for trying to stop the fleeing car and orders the police, actually the taxpayers, to pay $33 million. What’s wrong with this picture? Who was fleeing and driving recklessly? Who is really at fault? Who will ever want to be a police officer in the future? The criminals run the show In Illinois.

A small but vocal group of so-called protesters disrupted a recent south suburban village board meeting, forcing a recess. There was some concern that the group, mostly nonresidents, might return for the town’s National Night Out police information event, so it was canceled out of what the mayor referred to as an abundance of caution. Is this how the rule of law now works in our country in 2022?

Regarding the Goodwill thrift store at 159th Street. It’s filthy dirty. It needs a good cleaning and I’m sure it doesn’t look like that in Oak Brook or Naperville, or as a matter of fact any where like that. When you pull in right there by the trees, take a walk and look beyond the trees by the cattails. It’s loaded with junk and garbage. I’ve even seen rodents back there. It’s got to be cleaned up.

Kudos to all for backing the blue from Oak Lawn. Makes my heart feel good. These men and women could be the difference between your life and your death.
