Take a deeper look: A Trump supporter said, “the sham show congressional hearings are innuendo, hearsay, doctored videos and spin,” as if what’s been presented isn’t based on facts but on contrived accusations. However, many witnesses were Republicans and Trump appointees that testified telling just their story, not making accusations. If you could get the actual recordings you might understand it was not a sham, but Trump of being exposed in corrupt behavior. No one likes to be lied to so I hope this person will at least do some research. I’m not your enemy, just asking you to take a deeper look.
Give Biden credit: President Biden has accomplished more in 18 months, including infrastructure and gun control legislation, prescription drug discounts and climate change measures, than Mr. Trump did in four years. What’s more, he did it without all of the bombast, acrimony and petty vindictiveness that marred the previous administration.
Pritzker ‘buying’ power: Gov. Pritzker is buying his way in to the presidency, or at least he’s trying to. He’s on TV all the time now and now he can hire who he wants in the state and nothing can happen to him. That Shakman action should have been still on. If these Democrats elect this man as governor again, Illinois is in for big trouble. You got to vote this guy out.
Catholic church does good: You only hear bad news reporting coming out about the Catholic priests’ behavior in the Catholic church. Let me say I am not a Catholic, but I think they are doing so much for the people and the communities that goes unannounced. Years ago I had a balance on my hospital bill that I could not pay at the time. Paperwork was sent to the to Catholic Charities and my bill was paid with no question asked. They also paid one year rent to a person that I know who could not pay for because of new apartment and also needed employment, which they also helped with. Good things that are being done should also take the spotlight.
Good luck with that: I was laughing so hard, I almost choked. Lightfoot’s idea to sue gang members for their money is ridiculous. It’d be like Illinois suing to get back the billions absconded over the decades by the Cook County Democratic Machine.
