Chicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa is the Joe Biden of managers. They’re both similar. They’re both running their teams into the ground.

I have been hearing over and over that Black students in high school get many more tickets than white students. No one else is saying it so I will. Could it maybe just perhaps be possible that more Blacks are misbehaving and breaking the rules? Should they be writing about how white students learning is being compromised because they go to school with a bunch of rowdies who take up too much of the teacher and staff’s time?

So it’s racial disparity when tickets are given at the high schools. It couldn’t possibly be that maybe those kids are the ones acting up more. So you’re telling me that they just go around picking on Black kids just randomly giving tickets and they choose Black kids. You get a ticket for breaking the rules not for just standing there when you are going to own your issue and the stories don’t help with the way they slant it.

When people spew negativity about something as simple as a fist bump, it just reiterates the thought haters are going to hate. My condolences to those that can’t find something positive to say. Open your mind. I promise it will only hurt for a little while.

Jimbo from Chicago Heights, this sounds exactly like something Trump would say and do. Why would you espouse for President Biden to get knocked out? If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything at all, but it is something that comes out of the mouth of a Trump supporter

An article in Friday’s Southtown noted 9th Ald. Anthony Beale ‘s opposition to Mayor Lightfoot’s speed camera ticket ordinance remaining at 6 mph over the speed limit, saying Black and Latino residents are disproportionately ticketed. Really? Are cameras now racist too? Continuing to tell people laws/rules are unfair to Black and brown people sets them up to feel like victims and encourages a lack of personal responsibility. We have seen countless stories people resisting the orders of police, the policies at schools and places of business which frequently end badly.
