A 3-year-old boy fell to his death from an 18th-story window Tuesday evening in Uptown officials said.
He was identified as 3-year-old Chaise Binion who died of multiple blunt force injuries due to a fall from height, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Just before 7 p.m., paramedics and police responded to the 4500 block of North Clarendon Avenue, where police say a Binion was inside a residence on the 18th floor when he fell through a screen window, the Chicago Police Department said in a media notification.
He landed on the third floor of a parking garage, a spokesperson for the Chicago Fire Department said.
Binion was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition and was pronounced dead, officials said.
