Yes, I just read about Mayor Lightfoot going over to Paris and London to tout the city’s economic recovery. We are in a depression right now here in Chicago. We are having killings every weekend just like it had in the paper today about how many people got shot. What is she going to tell these people? Mayor Lightfoot, save your money. Nobody wants to come to Chicago. I sure as heck wouldn’t if I had a business. She doesn’t even know what she’s talking about, putting a roof over Soldier Field.

The airlines must be real desperate to allow dogs to be on seats in a commercial airline. The people who bring them should be put in the cage with them.

If the Republicans do not stop voting for assault weapon, private possession, they will surely lose all the rest of the elections. What are they thinking? It is the Republicans’ fault that all these children died because those guns should have been illegal and government should be taking away all assault weapons starting today.

According to BJ from Hazel Crest, Chicago law enforcement needs to get its act together due to the large number of carjackings. Well maybe the thugs and their parents need to get their act together and stop with the unlawful and uncivilized behavior. The police aren’t the lawbreakers.

I find it increasingly ludicrous that your readers often comment the panel investigating the January insurrection on our Capitol consists mainly of Democrats. They choose to ignore that Republican leadership counseled its members against serving on this committee. To those elected officials that put party loyalty over that of country, they should be ashamed. Trump lost the election and those that continue to elevate this loser over competent, compassionate and patriotic leadership should rethink their allegiance to our country.

My son sent me a picture that pretty much tells you how much Biden has failed all of us. The picture was at a gas pump. The person before only bought 50 cents of gas. But Biden is OK sending millions of dollars of barrels of oil out of our reserves to China. Yet again Biden puts America and Americans last.
