Regarding Brittney Griner, the basketball player in Russia. She has been playing basketball over there for a couple of years. She knows the rules. She knows how everything is going with the United States and Russia, but she still trying to sneak in marijuana stuff. I cannot see how she can say she should be able to get away with it. People use your head, this lady screwed up and she shouldn’t have. She should have at least given the stuff to her coaches and asked them to bring it in. I have no pity for this woman.

Kevin asked what could be more American than a mass shooting on Independence Day. We have more guns in this country than people. Only a third of Americans own guns, and are able to intimidate the other two thirds. Americans own one half of all private weapons in the world. Republicans, like Mitch McConnell, won’t pass sweeping gun safety legislation because their paymasters, the NRA and gun manufacturers, won’t let them. No where is now safe to gather.

I saw a list of stamps to be released throughout the year. I counted over 27 new designs. Six designs are dedicated to women, five feature floral designs, and five are for various artists or musicians. I can see releasing 10 or so, but nearly 30? United States Postal Service is always complaining they are operating in the red, yet they have money to spend on designing, developing and printing stamps that are pretty but really unnecessary.

You can do all the commercials you want, Chicago will never be back after the damage Lightfoot has created. The likes of her and Foxx and Brown, Pritzker and Durbin, none of them care. They all have ruined what was once a great city and Lightfoot continues to make Chicago worse as Pritzker does the state of Illinois. We need new leaders all the way around.
