Justices made right decision: Democracy won when SCOTUS ruled to let states decide about abortion. This is a responsible decision that puts it in public debate now. As adults, let’s talk about the issue without loss of life, property and fear of personal harm for the court members and their families. Violent crimes will do absolutely nothing to change the decision of the court.
How to lower gas prices: America is suffering from the results of higher gas prices. The supply-and-demand marketing model has gone haywire with record oil company profits (gouging) with added results of increased costs in just about everything being purchased. If these higher fuel prices are there to reduce demand, as the gas companies claim or in the act of gouging, then why shouldn’t the government control this process? The retail price of fuel could be based at a level closer to perhaps 2019 pricing. Let the government determine a tax surcharge that attempts to help reduce the demanded consumption yet include allowing similar oil profits experienced in the past. This tax revenue could be used to redistributed to families and those business that are most affected.

People can no longer take their family and kids to the game more than once. It’s one and done. It’s too expensive. The fans and friends you make today will be there for you tomorrow.
No magic here: Yellen’s trying to pull a “Wizard of Oz” on us. She said she and Biden are doing everything they can to lower gas prices for consumers. That everything means just 18 cents lower than the now average $5 a gallon. Wow! They’re the behind-the-curtain wizards who could/should reopen all our energy resources that made us independent and bring gas prices down to around $2.50 a gallon.
