So Chicago is planning a new marketing campaign to encourage tourism. The planners say tourism has dropped because of COVID-19. They expect us to believe this? Everyone knows people aren’t going into the city because of crime. No one wants to risk being mugged, robbed or shot. Yet Lightfoot and company will not do anything to stop this criminal activity. What was she thinking during the riots when the police were told to simply stand by and let the protesters continue looting and committing arson?

I read June 7 about possible decrease in benefits because low funding of Medicare. Medicare was for senior citizens to take care of their health with the doctors. It wasn’t a private insurance company, in case somebody dies the remaining people get a benefit, that’s an add on. People who are on disability, they should have their Medicare taken care of through Medicare, but they should be on welfare because they are a person on welfare who has a disability. People are milking Medicare dry to pay for all these other benefits.

Listening to all the Democrat ads on TV about Republicans not caring about women’s health care on abortion. Then you don’t hear democrats caring about the health care of the unborn baby.

Don’t worry, President Biden is going to save us. He’s going to drop the 18 cents a gallon tax. Hey Joe, don’t open your shirt, your heart will fall out.

President Biden must not understand that he and his policies are causing high energy prices and limiting production. Biden is not only collapsing the U.S. economy, but his short sighted energy policies are limiting our ability to help Europe and are helping Russia finance its war on Ukraine. Maybe he is senile. We badly need a president, not a has-been politician.

For years, I have been aware of former President Trump’s narcissism, lying, lack of character and being unqualified for the office of president. However, listening to the Jan 6 hearings really brings to the forefront just how stupid he is. For him to think he could actually get away with illegally overturning the election, replacing electors, etc., really puts a spotlight on his mental fitness, or unfitness.
