The following items were taken from Vernon Hills and Libertyville police reports and releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

LIBERTYVILLE

ROBBERY

Kendale L Brown, 18, of the 400 block of St. Louis Street in Chicago, was charged May 16 with armed robbery, aggravated battery and obstructing a peace officer, after attacking and stealing from a man at the Metra train depot on Lake Street. Upon arresting Brown, officers learned he had an active warrant out of Kane County. He was turned over to the Lake County jail.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY

Kareem B Shittu, 29, of the 100 block of W. Willow Drive in Round Lake Park, was charged May 11 with possession of a stolen license plate. During a traffic stop officers also learned Shittu was driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was turned over to the Lake County jail.

VERNON HILLS

DUI

Josmhar Machorro-Tamayo, 23, of the 400 block of Hickory Street in Mundelein, was charged April 29 with driving under the influence of alcohol. Machorro-Tamayo also had a suspended driver’s license, no insurance and expired registration. He was turned over to the Lake County jail.

Juan Jose Ramirez Ubaldo of Brownsville, Texas, was charged May 8, with driving under the influence of alcohol. His court information was unavailable.

Mundelein reported no arrests in the past week.
