Hypocrites or authoritarians? If the Republican party is truly opposed to government interference in our every day life, why are they determined to play by their rules when it comes to abortions, gay rights and the education of our youth? At best they are hypocrites and at worst they are authoritarian figures.
Fairness not guaranteed: Remember the theme song from the TV show, “Malcolm In the Middle”? The last three words were “life is unfair.” Today, the woke world over promises fairness. If something is not fair, they will make it fair. People get a rude awakening then when things do not get their way.
Worthless UN: The United Nations; what a joke. People talking and talking while they’re watching innocent civilians getting killed. This war has been going on for over a month. The UN has done absolutely nothing. It’s good for nothing, except for the employees picking up nice salaries to do nothing.
More fake news: The Republican false information mouthpieces — Trump, Carlson, Hannity, Ingram — will probably soon be claiming fake news about the atrocities and mass graves reported on all the legitimate news channels and found at Bucha and other areas in Ukraine, which would follow suit with their Jan. 6 insurrection claims of denial.
Public needs bulletproof vests: Lightfoot is passing out money to people that are hurting, passes on the CTA. Now Pritzker is passing out money. Maybe they ought to start passing out bulletproof vests because everybody is getting shot up, parties on the buses, CTA is having problem, driving in the city the expressways.
Shame on them: When this pandemic of ours started, many people who got infected were shamed for it. I remember reading many such articles online, in the newspaper and on social media. A positive test result meant the person broke protocol, neglected guidelines. They didn’t properly social distance, they didn’t follow the science. They were careless, stupid and dangerous. Now, a string of high profile people have tested positive. Where is the outrage and scathing criticism of Jen Psaki, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Merrick Garland and the New York mayor?
No explaining success: There is no stopping her. Sen. Marjorie Taylor Greene says and does as she pleases. She called three Republicans, Sen. Susan Collins along with Sen. Lisa Murkowski and Sen. Mitt Romney, pedophiles (for voting for Ketanji Brown Jackson for the Supreme Court). Greene has been stripped of all of her committees but continues to slam dunk any Democrat she can and goes home and raises more money. Go figure.
