No strings attached: Our president, Joe Biden, gladly represented the wishes of America with supporting aid for the Ukraine people. Note what he didn’t ask as a precondition: “Can you do me a favor?”

Waiting on the sidelines: While the debate goes on as to whether or not Vladimir Putin is a true war criminal, another hospital or school is leveled in Kyiv and the rest of the world is indicted as co-conspirators.

Expensive cuts: Sen. Rick Scott, a Florida Republican, proposed cutting the IRS budget in half. The past IRS budgets have seen an increased reduction in the number of tax investigators even while facts show each investigator generated way more income then their cost of exposing tax fraud. Cutting the IRS budget even more?

Pays to be famous: It just goes to show you, if you are famous and have money you can get out of jail. The two appellate justices that let Jussie Smollett free, you wonder where there heads are. His lawyers sure weren’t that brilliant otherwise he wouldn’t have been found guilty. I wish that he would fade into the sunset. If it was you or I the appellate court would never have heard our appeal. Only if you’re rich and famous. So much for fair and equal in our courts.

Sue the parents: Children under 13 are committing more crimes — carjacking, possession of weapons, theft, etc. Time and time again, they are home before the victim, who is at police station filling out forms. This teaches children they can commit crimes with impunity. Gang bangers and even some parents encourage this behavior. Police officers should sue the parents for putting them in a position to hurt their child or being hurt themselves.

How to spend windfall tax: Now that our government has taken over the responsibilities of the old mafia beginning with the lottery and more recently selling of marijuana and now gambling on sports, the windfall tax revenue realized by these activities should be used to complete the wall to control illegal immigration and the inflow of deadly drugs.

Traveling goes unchecked: Basketball players are all traveling now with the ball and it’s not being called by the referees. What’s up?
