‘Nightmare’ should return: In regards to “Nightmare on Chicago Street” event, please move forward with it! It’s an awesome event and brought in a lot people. No other town does this! The riverboat no longer has an upscale restaurant or offers any entertainment. Downtown Elgn has 11 event venues, four tattoo parlors and I believe one restaurant that is open past 8. There’s a farmers market on Friday afternoons, but how do you support that if you work? Can’t the downtown do something different? Can’t the city do something different? We try to patronize what business are down there but from my viewpoint, it’s time to let others decide what should be done.

Blaming Biden ridiculous: I don’t know if I’m living in America or living on a different planet. How on heaven’s earth can anyone blame the death of Ukrainians on Biden? What is Putin, an innocent bystander? God help those who blame Biden.
Political cheating: The Cook County assessor’s office is a crime that won’t be solved. Assessed valuation is a rigged game. Neighbors with the same kind of house are valued differently. This has raised taxes improperly. Why is this? Political cheating.
