Courvoisier Thomas, 38, of the 1300 block of Modaff Drive, appeared at a bond hearing Tuesday after being arrested on a warrant in connection with the woman’s death on Nov. 17.
Prosecutors say Thomas supplied her with fentanyl/fluorofentanyl mix that led to her overdose.
“This is yet another senseless loss of a promising life snuffed out by illegal narcotics,” DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin said in a news release.
Thomas’ arraignment is scheduled for April 27.
