Go figure
I never thought I’d ever see in my lifetime a point in time where some are rooting for people to die out of spite, just because they want to take charge of what goes in their body versus having the government mandate it. Gone is the ability to question potential side effects, such as back when there was a large movement about vaccines causing conditions like autism, etc., in children. The media’s been very selective about the frequency and levels of really bad reactions, so many of those hesitant to proceed are being viewed as weak even though they’re doing their homework. Yet many of those wishing death on others are the same people who say those who supported President Trump were bullies. Go figure.
Billions into foster care
I agree there are so many options, but unfortunately accidents happen even if birth control methods are used. Also, those men who rape are not always so thoughtful to use protection. Rape, incest and severe health issues are critical in the abortion argument. If Roe v Wade is rescinded, we need to pump billions of dollars into the foster care services each year, as well as states need to improve long-term medical care facilities for disabled people. Perhaps churchgoers can step up and cover a portion of these costs or even volunteer at care centers.
Development follows investment
I see that Ann Taylor will continue to starve the public works department in 2022 by allocating a pittance for street resurfacing. I think she needs to go for a ride around town, and see what condition her roads are in. It’s a tough choice with so many candidates, but my vote for worst is Keller, from Washington to Belvedere. I am sure Waukegan residents and visitors have their own candidates for worst. Maybe Taylor can sponsor a contest, collect all the public input for worst, put them in a hat and pick a couple to allocate the pittance. She needs to wake up and realize that development follows investment in infrastructure, not the other way around.
Herd immunity
All the dinosaurs are extinct. Apparently herd immunity didn’t work.
We will never beat this thing
What is it to us vaccinated people if you who choose not to vaccinate, you ask? Well if you had listened to the science from the very beginning of this pandemic you would be informed enough to know that it’s the unvaccinated like you that are the petri dish to all these coronavirus variants. So until you buffoons do your part and start being a part of the solution instead of the problem we will never beat this thing. It could be eradicated if you unvaccinated would just bite your sissy idiotic lips and take the shot like big boys and girls.
Debunked anti-vax nonsense
I understand your mission to publish a wide range of reader opinions, but there’s a difference between publishing a range of opinions and reinforcing debunked anti-vax nonsense, which is what you did by publishing “Making Big Pharma richer.” If someone wants to cite legitimate scientific proof against the COVID vaccines, I can accept that. That’s something that should published, mainly because it would be the first example of legitimate proof they’ve found thus far. However, there’s no need to publish the views of someone who claims that omicron rhymes with moron (hint: it doesn’t), and refers to it as a “scarient.”
