We’re asking for broken eggs: We’ve all heard about not putting all your eggs in one basket. Our current supply chain issue is a prime example! The basket is mostly in China. The basket holding our fruits and vegetables is in Mexico and South America. And Walmart doesn’t tout made in USA products or only three people in checkout line anymore!
Waiting for true justice: The QAnon shaman has been sentenced to 41 months in jail and that’s exactly 41 months more than Donald Trump, Bill Barr, Mike Flynn, Matt Gaetz and Steve Bannon have ever served (combined). You’ll never convince me this is a nation of equal justice under the law.
Democracy survived: It is important that all Americans are given a bird’s eye view of the mob action taken on Jan. 6. Many were patriotic citizens who were mislead with false accusations and some are still accepting what ever poison that is being fed to maintain the big lie. No matter which party you belong to, the truth is what maintains a democracy.

Took long enough: After ignoring the infrastructure problems for over 50 years, Congress is now looking for a pat on the back for passing a very long overdue bill. I think a better idea would be to rebuild Congress first.
Something not right here: On Veterans Day we went out for dinner. We went to the Olive Garden and, boy, were they busy, but they had servers to handle it. We were told it would take an hour and 30 minutes to seat our party of seven. We then decided to try Red Robin and were told it would be 30 minutes for our party because they had one server working. What is wrong with people? There are jobs to be found. Get off your butts and look. It might not be the highest paying job, but it’s a job.
Best gifts not always monetary: I agree with the Speak Out comment about holidays when people did not spend a lot of money being the best time ever. You got it right. Everybody, all we need is a little love from someone else, a little help. Items are not important.
