Irresponsible, unvaccinated people

Shame on you State Farm for supporting and standing by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Mr. Rodgers has lied to and deceived his teammates, NFL officials, his fans and the public who admire him, and thumbed his nose at the NFL rules. Why are we rewarding bad behavior? What message does this send? Is State Farm so desperate for business that they are willing to endorse irresponsible, unvaccinated people that are knowingly prolonging COVID-19? Shame on you State Farm.

Keep sewers clear

Stop clogging the sewers. The leaves belong on your lawn, not on the street. Better for you and your lawn, get a mulching lawn mower and let it feed your lawn with the mulched up leaves. No need for fertilizer. Less work, more benefits.

Leftist liberals

I want to personally thank the city of Waukegan, Waukegan Public Schools, Waukegan Township, Lake County Forest Preserves, College of Lake County and Lake County for raising my property taxes. I am paying over $1,200 a year more in property taxes this year. So, about $100 a month taken out of my wallet for out great government services I never get to take advantage of. Kind of ironic, most of our government is run by leftist liberals. The same people that claim to be for the working man and woman seem to steal more money out of my wallet than any big bank or big energy company ever has. That’s a hundred dollars a month you are stealing from my grocery bill to feed my family. Thanks. I wish the county would erect a statue somewhere to acknowledge all the taxpayers paying for their fat, overblown salaries. It’s the least they can do.

Running out of money

District 121 wants to tax the people so the students can have cheaper parking fees. I believe we are taxed to pay for buses, and drivers to transport students to and from school. The cars can be left at home, and the students can ride the buses which the public is paying for right now. If you didn’t realize it, the public taxpayers are running out of money also.

Think about that

The Kyle Rittenhouse trial judge is an absolute embarrassment to the judicial system. Talk about an incompetent clown. So unprofessional, and obviously biased in this case. Can you imagine this playing out if it were a Black Rittenhouse sitting there in the defendant’s chair? How do you think this would play out if this was a Black 17-year-old walking the streets of Kenosha with an AR-15, killing two people and injuring another claiming self-defense? Think about that for a minute. Seriously.

Don’t be fooled

Have you been wondering why “big business” has suddenly begun to support the Democratic agenda after years of being in the conservative camp? Don’t be fooled. The Democrats have made under-the-table deals with the new millionaire companies, and they receive “perks” that are undetectable. They are profiting from these deals, and we are paying for it.

So darn clever

Wow, Waukegan public relations has an online calendar. Those folks are just so darn clever. And thanks to that Talk of the County item, we now know where to find it.
