Rodgers’ bad behavior: It’s bad enough that Aaron Rodgers, the mask-less super hero of the Green Bay Packers, was caught unvaccinated, but he then threw his girlfriend under the bus. That makes the All-Pro quarterback not only clueless but classless as well!
Holiday confusion: I finally heard my first Christmas tune on the radio this past weekend; after all, Thanksgiving is practically a memory now. It makes perfect sense since we started celebrating Halloween even before Labor Day was over. Is it possible we’re rushing the seasons just a little or has the pace of modern day life rendered traditional calendars obsolete?
Crazies getting crazier: I watched as these wackadoodle, MAGA-QAnon followers supporters stood in Dealey Plaza in Dallas for hours waiting for JFK Jr. to reappear right where his father was assassinated, thinking that he was going to be Trump’s vice presidential pick for 2024. Has the whole country gone really this crazy? It would almost be funny if it weren’t so disgraceful, disheartening and pathetic. Will people ever open their eyes and realize we only have one party in this country that is working for the people at this point? The other party has gone totally into crazy destruction and denial.
Trump loved Russia more: A Speak Out commenter says Biden wants to turn the U.S. into the U.S.S.R. I think you forgot who used to buddy up to Putin, It sure wasn’t Biden. Remember how Donald Trump took Putin’s word over his own security force in Helsinki. He also liked to cozy up to other tin-pot dictators, like the North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.
Doing a lousy job: I had mail delivered today, but it was for someone in another apartment in my building. I also got a letter for someone who lives in Joliet, about 50 miles away. Do you think somebody is doing the wrong job? Mail carriers get a pension, they get hospitalization, sick pay, maternity leave if they’re female. How much do they get paid?
Need help now, not later: Our supply chain for Christmas isn’t looking too good. Under Biden’s caring leadership, he’s assigned Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo to look into it. They will host a summit next year to build up stronger supply chains. That won’t help us this Christmas. As usual, the Dems are a day late and a dollar short.
Money well spent: I believe we should have a Go Fund Me page for the professional baseball players and football players so they can get a haircut and get their ears trimmed.
