People don’t love the ‘Supremes:’ In a recent poll, 60% of Americans were said to be disappointed with the highest court in the land. It seems that partisan politics is transforming the “Supremes” into right-wing “Judge Judys.”
Bring back logical thinking: America needs to evaluate the proposed debt increase that Biden seeks. Keep in mind that neither the Democrat or Republican parties have been honest about logical spending. Looking at Trump’s debt ceiling, it rose by $7.8 trillion during his presidency. Looking at Biden’s proposal, it has some merit but most of us in the middle class would prefer we start living within our means. Why is it the two parties can’t agree on logical legislation instead of constantly condemning or supporting it based on just party loyalty?
Fool me once… Please, would someone kindly tell me, what is that athletic event da Bears are participating in every Sunday? It vaguely resembles football but I know better, I’ve been fooled by that team before!
Makes sense to me: So the Chicago Bears want to leave Chicago for greener pastures. Why not? They play in the smallest stadium in the NFL; without a roof, they’ll never host a Super Bowl; and the city loses millions in revenue. But oh well, the city is flush with money. Chicago is one of the worst run cities in America between the crime and the crooked politicians. It surprises me that anyone would still want to do business or much less live in Chi town.

Why not more local comments? I am happy contributors to Speak Out are so knowledgeable as to what is going on in our nation and the world and have voiced their opinion. However, are you happy with what goes on in your community? Do your receive as citizens complete transparency from your elected officials? Since you take the heat off of your officials, I bet they are delighted wringing their clammy hands with glee. Where you live, is it time to pick up the heat?
Don’t endanger my family: I saw the story about the airline employees who refuse the vaccine. I’ve got news for you, you put my kids at risk. If my children, my grandchildren get sick because you refuse to sign that thing, you’re in trouble.
