A 33-year-old man was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center with wounds to the left leg and back. He was listed in serious condition. A 28-year-old man was shot in the right leg and took himself to Advocate Trinity Hospital before being transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in fair condition, authorities said. Another man, 27, suffered wounds to his ankles and took himself to Jackson Park Hospital where he was listed in good condition, authorities said.
Two men were shot, one fatally, in the 3400 block of West Douglas Boulevard in Lawndale about 3 p.m. Sunday, police said. A 43-year-old man was in front of an apartment building when a light-colored vehicle pulled up. A person inside the vehicle shot the man in the head. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died. He had not been identified by the Cook County medical examiner’s office early Monday.
Another man, 32, suffered gunshot wounds to the left leg in the same attack. He took himself to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, authorities said.
Police said a 44-year-old man was found lying outside with a gunshot wound to his chest in the 600 block of East 92nd Place in Burnside on Saturday at 10:40 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:52 p.m. and later identified as Edward Hudson, according to the medical examiner’s office.

A man, 37, was walking on the sidewalk in Chicago Lawn when three men began shooting at him, hitting him in the back about 1:37 a.m. Monday in the 5900 block of South Campbell Avenue, authorities said. He was taken to U. of C. Medical Center in good condition.
A 22-year-old man was driving on 78th Street near the 7700 block of South Sawyer Avenue in Ashburn when a man fired at him from the sidewalk at 10:35 p.m. Sunday, authorities said. A friend took the man to Holy Cross Hospital with a gunshot wound to the face. He was then transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition.
About 9:25 p.m. Sunday, a man, 22, was walking on the sidewalk when he was shot in the back in the 5400 block of South Wells Street in Fuller Park, authorities said. He was taken to U. of C. Medical Center in fair condition.
About 8 p.m. Sunday, a 40-year-old man was walking to his white Range Rover when a man with a handgun demanded his keys in the 6400 block of North Milwaukee Avenue in Norwood Park East, authorities said. When the SUV owner refused, the man shot him in the left arm and chest, authorities said. The shooter fled in the Range Rover. The man was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge in critical condition.
A man suffered a graze wound to the back in the 5200 block of South Rockwell Street in Gage Park about 8 p.m. Sunday, authorities said. He refused emergency medical services.
In the 1300 block of North Hudson Avenue in Old Town, a man was near the sidewalk when he was shot in the arm about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, authorities said. He took himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and his condition was reported as unknown.
An 18-year-old man was in front of a residence in the 7400 block of South Colfax Avenue in South Shore when two men approached and fired at him, striking him in the knee about 4:50 p.m. Sunday, authorities said. The teen was taken to U. of C. Medical Center in fair condition.
About 4:55 p.m. Sunday, a 20-year-old man was near a residence when the occupant of a car shot at him in the 4900 block of West Cortez Street in South Austin, authorities said. He was hit in the hand and suffered two graze wounds to his side. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
A 22-year-old man was near the sidewalk when he was shot at from an approaching vehicle in the 6800 block of South Maplewood Avenue in Marquette Park about 2 p.m. Sunday, authorities said. He was hit in the thigh and took himself to Holy Cross Hospital. He was listed in good condition.
At 2 p.m. Sunday, two men were traveling in a vehicle on 102nd Street in the Rosemoor neighborhood. Another vehicle pulled up and the occupants fired shots at the two men, authorities said. The men’s car then hit the porch of a house in the 10200 block of South Indiana Avenue and came to a stop. One of the men, 19, suffered a graze wound to the face and the other man, 20, suffered a gunshot wound to the left arm. They were both taken to Roseland Community Hospital in good condition.
