Chipotle opens new Orland location; Tinley coming next

Chipotle opened its new Orland Park location last week at 15071 S. LaGrange Road on the site of the former Toys R Us store.

Chipotle opened its doors Friday and was the second restaurant to open at the new development. Raising Cane opened on Tuesday and immediately drew long lines.

Coming soon are a new Panera Bread and a Smashburger hamburger restaurant.

The new Chipotle replaces one that closed earlier this year at 15240 S. LaGrange Road. Its hours are 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Another new Chipotle is about ready to open at 7228 W. 191st St. in Tinley Park in a former Bank of America. There are signs on the doors reading “Not Open Yet.”

Crisis Center moves Neat Repeats Resale store

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia announced Friday the relocation and expansion of its Neat Repeats Resale Store in Orland Park.

Neat Repeats Resale has moved from its longtime home on 159th Street in Orland Park to new digs at 15551 S. 94th Avenue in the former Hobby Town store.

The store will open Oct. 4. An open house will be from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 7 including a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. with members of the Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce.

The new store is bigger, with 5,700 square feet of retail space. The additional space will allow customers an expanded selection of donations presented for resale, including women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, shoes, decorative housewares, furniture, toys, jewelry, collectibles and more.

Neat Repeats stores produce net profits that cover 30% of Crisis Center for South Suburbia program costs.

The first Neat Repeats Resale opened in Worth in 1986. In 2002, the agency opened its second location in Orland Park.

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia provides free emergency shelter, community-based housing, counseling, advocacy, community education and prevention services for victims of domestic violence. It was founded 43 years ago.

CD Cleaners opens new store

The dry cleaning and laundry franchise CD One Price Cleaners opened a new store Sept. 15 at 20930 S. La Grange Road, in the Market Street Center in Frankfort.

The new store will be CD One’s 35th location in the Chicago area and the first in Frankfort. It will be owned and operated by Devang and Chaitali Kothari, owners of the CD One Price Cleaners location in Orland Park.

Devang and Chaitali opened their first store in Orland Park in 2008. Before joining the CD One system, Devang was a stock analyst for an investment banking firm and Chaitali was an experienced software engineer. Opening the CD One Price Cleaners store was their first foray into the entrepreneurial world.

The first CD One Price Cleaners store in the Chicago area opened in the suburb of Lincolnwood in 2001. Since that time, the company has also opened locations in Minneapolis and St. Louis. The company offers dry cleaning, laundered and pressed shirts, personal laundry wash and fold by the pound, and cleaning household goods like comforters and blankets.
