Bad moves
Why did Trump and Pompeo negotiate with the Taliban without the Afghan government’s participation? Why did Trump and Pompeo agree to release 5,000 Taliban prisoners before U.S. civilians and Afghan supporters were evacuated? Did Trump and Pompeo set us up for failure?
Masks are like guns
J.B. Pritzker is an idiot. Masks don’t help. Should they help yes, but they don’t. And why? Because people don’t wear them correctly, and even if they do they are constantly putting there hands on them and putting their hands elsewhere. If they worked, we would not be where we are now. Just like guns, they are great in the hands of those who will use them correctly, but can be dangerous to innocent people when they are in the hands of people that won’t. You can’t tell me nobody contracted COVID-19 while wearing a mask. I bet most people had been. I rarely if ever touch my face when not wearing a mask, but when I do I am always having to touch the mask because it fogs my glasses and moves out of place when I talk. This makes it more dangerous to me.

A double no vote for me
District 121 Warren School wants a tax increase again. This time it is for parking fees for students driving to school. I am sure I don’t want to support a teenager driving his car to school and parking it. Take a school bus to school. I need the money to pay for the high taxes that already exist due to the retirement packages of the teachers. Maybe the schools superintendents would like to give up one third of their pay, and have that go for the students’ parking fees. How many superintendents does the school have? This will be a double no vote for me.
We are cursed
Biden has got to go. All the countries and allies that were our friends won’t help or aid us in future efforts as long as he is in office. We are cursed with his actions in Afghanistan and his poor judgment on our borders.
Focus on health
Just curious why there is not more focus on getting Americans healthier, which also appears to be a great deterrent for a virus which has a 99% recovery rate, more than shaming people for not getting the vaccine. Oh, I forgot, it might hurt a person’s feelings if you tell them they need to lose weight and eat better. No one seemed to have a problem when Michelle Obama took food out of our kids’ mouths at school and preached fitness. And now that the cost of food has risen, people may be more apt to purchase cheaper, unhealthier food just to make sure their family can eat. Why not make that a priority?
Answer the question
Clearly, Biden is taking a lot of heat for the turmoil in Kabul. He is taking responsibility. I would like to see all the recent presidents, starting with Bush who got us in there, to Obama and Trump answer questions as to why we were still there these past 20 years.
