. Please include “speak out” in the subject line.Ian Happ should be next: The Chicago Cubbies finally cut ties with Jake Arrieta after he failed to get past the first inning in many of his starts. The next player to go has to be Ian Happ. How on earth can a Major League club have a cleanup hitter batting a paltry .175. October can’t come soon enough to end this miserable season.
I can’t take it anymore: Help somebody, please help. How do we stop these 800 phone calls that keep coming in and bothering us every day, morning, noon and night? Someone please come up with an answer so we can get rid of them.
Follow the science: Regarding all these parents demonstrating about masks, they’re not really following the science as their signs would like to purport. Science tells us that masking helps with all infectious diseases, including colds, flu and everything else, but particularly COVID-19. The protests are just political statements. I sure hope no superintendent in our state decides to deny the mandate of wearing masks.
Pritzker needs pension answer: Before considering reelecting Pritzker in the next gubernatorial election, Illinois residents have to ask him what is his plan for addressing the pension crisis in Illinois.
Dumb parade comments: I watched the Bud Billiken Parade on TV. The anchors, in particular Cheryl Burton, made some of the dumbest statements I’ve ever heard. I’m sure that people loved one another before electricity.
Worse than a Chinese dictator: What gives Gov. Pritzker the right to hold back federal funds for the schools because they’re not doing what he said. He’s worse than a Chinese dictator. Does he have any kids in school? No. He hasn’t done anything. He is ignorant for not going around to the school boards to see what they are doing. That man should not be a governor and they should not have to do what he says.
Biden’s an ‘incapable’ president: From the chaotic conclusion of the Afghanistan conflict to the appointment of Rahm Emanuel as ambassador to Japan, Biden continues to demonstrate he is incapable of executing the duties of president and that he is planning for only one term, thankfully. Even the progressives in his own party are against the appointment of Emanuel, and for good reason.
Not Jesus, too! I just heard Jesus Christ has applied for the hosting job on the TV show, “Jeopardy.” Even though he led a sinless and blameless life, someone was offended by one of his parables from 33 AD. Consequently, he will have to resign from the job.
