A male held up a woman at gunpoint Aug. 2 in Oak Park and, along with two other males, possibly young teens, stole her 2013 Toyota Venza and fled the alley in the 00 block of Madison Street.

According to Oak Park police, around 5:04 p.m., the victim, a Chicago resident, was parked in the alley with the driver’s side door slightly open when a male pulled the door open and displayed a small black semi-automatic pistol. The victim got out of the car, leaving behind her purse containing credit cards, cash and a cell phone. Two other males entered the vehicle and fled eastbound in the alley, turning on Austin Boulevard. The car was recovered in the 5000 block of West Monroe Avenue after being located by Oak Park officers a short time later. Estimated loss was $300.

The first offender was described as between 13 and 15 years old, 5 foot 6 inches tall and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, and dark pants. The second offender was described as 12 to 13 years old, about 5’3” and 100 pounds, with short dark hair and wearing a white t-shirt. The third offender was described as around 30, 5’5?, with a medium build and short black hair.
