Thank you, Biden
More Top Picks Irobot Roomba 980
I just bought a gallon of 1% milk for $2.56. I usually get the skim variety, and have rarely paid over $1.99. Of course, with the supply shortage, there was no skim milk. I looked for the fat-free creamer, but the cupboard was bare. Thank you, Biden. We are heading to being a Third World country with this administration. Like fools, we are paying people not to work, and footing the bill for illegals to be wined and dined in hotels.
Wake up
Does a person need to get a trophy when he or she gets a COVID shot? To get a shot to save one’s own life or a family member should be a fulfilling reward. I don’t see any need for a $5 bill or hamburger to save my life. I helped pave the way and got my shot last February for myself, and the rest of humanity and my family. I still wear a mask in public for your safety and mine, because you won’t get a shot. Wake up.
All have their agenda
Today I ask, who is honest in their reporting? There are comments about Fox, for example. Well I think all have their agenda, but honest news comments are about having common sense. And that includes those who comment.
Rather pathetic
In reference to last week’s, “You did nothing’: To say Richard Branson has accomplished nothing in his life takes ignorance to a whole new level. He is a self-made billionaire who contributes to 37 charitable causes, and is committed to donating $3 billion over the next 10 years to charitable causes. His actions are of a visionary and difference-maker, not someone who is trying to take fame away from our actual astronauts. Sorry that career at Virgin didn’t work out for you. Your effort to call him out was lazy, uninformed and rather pathetic.
Evil people for evil purposes
Geoengineering is not just the dream of futuristic science fiction. It’s already happening with use of lasers and microwave radiation to cause heavy rain or drought. Maybe that’s why Lake and McHenry counties are in extreme drought. Not all scientific discoveries are benign and benevolent. Sometimes evil people utilize their power for evil purposes. Those who have ears to hear, let them hear.
How thoughtful
I took my 2015 automobile into the emissions testing station the other day, thus wasting an hour of my day and a gallon of a nonrenewable resource. The car passed of course, and I was handed a piece of paper reminding me that my license plate sticker is expiring soon and that “as a convenience” I could get my sticker renewed right there at the office on-site. How thoughtful of our good governor. What the piece of paper failed to mention was that each renewal would include a $9.57 “administrative fee.” I thought the $3.50 fee for renewing online was outrageous enough, but $9.57 is pretty ridiculous and insulting to all of us average Illinoisans. What bureaucrats dream up these exorbitant “fees” for complying with the multitude of requirements they’ve put on us?
