Amtrak passenger trains will resume full service to St. Louis, Quincy and Carbondale starting early next week, officials said.
The services to these three locations, along with stops in several cities along the way, were cut in half during the pandemic.

With full service, there will be five daily round trips between Chicago and St. Louis, two daily round trips between Chicago and Quincy and three daily round trips between Chicago and Carbondale.

The trip to and from St. Louis includes stops in Normal and Springfield. Between Chicago and Quincy, the train stops in Macomb and Galesburg, among other cities. The trip to Carbondale includes stops in Champaign.
