Two men have been indicted on charges they conspired to steal a dozen handguns from a Naperville firearms dealer, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago.
Roneal Nightengale, 34, of Glendale Heights, and Eric Rowe, 36, of Bellwood, are accused of working with a third unindicted co-conspirator to burglarize Shoot Point Blank, a gun dealer and shooting range at 560 Frontenac Court, a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Northern Illinois Office said.

The incident occurred about 9 p.m. June 1, 2020, which was the same night that a protest in downtown Naperville turned violent and resulted in vandalism and looting.
In addition to the conspiracy charge, Nightengale and Rowe were charged with theft of the firearms, possession of stolen firearms and illegal possession the firearms as previously convicted felons, the release said.
Nightengale was arrested earlier this month in Arizona and pleaded not guilty Tuesday during his arraignment in Chicago, the release said. An arrest warrant has been issued for Rowe.
