Very disturbing
So, did you see the anthem protest by the woman headed to the Olympics? Really, this is what it’s coming down to? To anyone who supports this deranged individual, you are not an American. If you support someone like this in representing our country, then leave. What’s even more disgusting is that the Olympic committee is allowing it, let alone her teammates. You are representing the greatest country in the world, not your agenda. This is very disturbing.
Stop running your mouth
Please note that the consolidated election will be the first Tuesday in April, 2023. This would include the election of township, municipal, park district, library district, school district and fire district officials. I will expect all of the complainers in Talk of the County, who are the most vocal in seeming to think their town is run improperly by elected officials, to be on those ballots. If you can’t walk your talk, then stop running your mouth.
Value everyone
When will the pious bias end? A group wants to be put in the front of others because of their race, or economic level, or past injustice. We need another measure of fairness. Those willing to work and earn will succeed over those handed what they didn’t earn. We need to value everyone. Treat others as you want to be treated.
Never held accountable
Trump, the leader of the Republicans, has continuously asserted that the presidential election was stolen through election fraud, disregarding the truth that he lost by millions of votes. Tucker Carlson’s bosses stated in public court that he is never to be taken seriously. Mitch McConnell? All he does is lie about anything and everything. Why don’t we agree that all politicians blatantly lie. Why? Because they are never held accountable.
Term limits
So I see that I have been working all my life to cover all the expenses of illegal immigrants. And today was the frosting on the cake. Now we are making college scholarship available to our colleges and universities for illegal students. What about the legal students that are unfortunate enough to have good grades, but bad family credit and would love the opportunity to go to college? What about the students who are legal, worked their butts off and now have huge student loans? Our politicians need to get real, and care about the legal. It’s time to clean up your act. Term limits.
Too much politics
I for one again did not watch the BET Awards. I have not watched any of the award shows for years now, as it has gotten to a point that you cannot see your favorite actor or singer without a political statement. It’s not about celebrating your favorite movie or album anymore. And the BET Awards show is one of the worst about that.
