Ravinia announced an expanded lineup featuring Lauryn Hill, John Legend and The Roots, as it shifts to full-capacity Pavilion seating Aug. 14. The outdoor Highland Park music venue will reopen next month, kicking off its season with socially distanced concerts.
Tickets for Pavilion seating for the first half of the season (concerts between July 1-Aug. 13)will be sold in socially distanced groups of two or four. South Lawn audiences will be seated in pre-reserved, distanced groups for two, four or six people and will feature a screen showing the live video feed of the stage. The North Lawn will remain general admission, at reduced capacity, with first-come, first-served seating. Guests are expected to distance appropriately.
Starting Aug. 14, the Pavilion will return to full capacity. Capacity limits on the North Lawn likely will increase, while the South Lawn will continue to offer socially distanced seating.
