In recognition of its 100th commencement ceremony, Trinity High School in River Forest sent off the class of 2021 with a special graduation event held May 27.
With its auditorium being renovated, the 2021 ceremony took place inside the Sister Michelle Germanson Athletic Facility, and included the graduates taking part in a parade down Division Street and Jackson Avenue.

The senior class at the all-girls high school was awarded a total of $39.5 million in scholarships with a 100% acceptance rate to 205 colleges and universities worldwide. Trinity students were accepted into institutions across the country, as well as in Japan, Paris and London.
“Year after year, Trinity graduates find much success in the college admissions process because of their rigorous academic preparation, strong extracurricular involvement, service and leadership,” said Trinity college counselor Katie Granholm. “Our students are encouraged and supported in applying to colleges that fit their expectations and goals.”
The graduating class includes two Chick Evans Scholars, two Northern Illinois University Presidential Scholarships, an Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship recipient and more than $4 million awarded for art scholarships alone.
