The 45th season of the Hinsdale Farmers Market kicked off on May 31 and runs an extra two weeks through October 25 — and if you’re vaccinated against COVID-19, masks are optional.
With the pandemic winding down, the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce said in an email that they will not be requiring masks for the fully vaccinated, following guidelines from the Illinois Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). They are however suggesting people follow social distancing where possible.
The market is open Mondays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Burlington Park located on 30 East Chicago Avenue with complimentary weekly fitness classes also in Burlington Park from 7-8 a.m.
The Hinsdale farmers market was first founded in 1977 and gathers over two dozen Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin farmers and food artisans who return yearly with coffee, prepared foods and other locally sourced goods.
