We suspended our Five Things to Do feature in March, 2020, due to the pandemic, which led to the cancellation of virtually all events and festivals. Events are starting back up, and so are we. This is what’s going on the week of June 4-10 in the Southland and northwest Indiana.

Sounds of summer: A summer concert series will be held at Fox Pointe in Lansing at 7 p.m. Wednesdays June 2-Oct. 6. Admission is free. At 18138 Henry St. Go to foxpointe.org.

Come on down: The Hometown Country Jam, featuring Lee Brice, Dylan Schneider, Julia Cole, Lewis Brice, Jonny James will be held starting at 4:30 p.m. June 5 at Brickle Bowl in Hobart. Admission: $45; free kids 7 and under. At 705 E. 4th St. Go to eventbrite.com and search Hometown Country Jam.

For a good cause: Tom Lounges’ Birthday Jam Fundraiser will be held at 5 p.m. June 6 at Hobart Art Theater. The Songwriters Circle for Critters is fundraiser for the Humane Society of Northwest Indiana. Admission: At 230 Main St. Call 219-942-1670 or go to brickartlive.com.

Historical venue: Tuesday theater tours has resumed at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet. Tours will be held at 1:30 p.m. June 8, 15, 22, 29. Admission: $5. Call 815-726-7171 or go to rialtosquare.com.

Funny because it’s true: Comedian Christopher Titus (of the FOX-TV sitcom “Titus”) brings his one-man show to the Art Theater in Hobart for one show at 7:30 p.m. June 10. Admission: $25-$40. Show is all ages. Masks are required. At 230 Main St. Call 219-942-1670 or go to brickartlive.com.
