No confusion about Capitol attack: It is hard to understand why the Republican Party won’t acknowledge the truth of the Jan. 6 insurrection as they try to describe it as a peaceable tour of the capital. Another confusion is their accusation of a corrupt election that has never had a shred of evidence to support that stand. Their method of false validity is a threat to our democracy with a willful act of deception!
Cheating hurts public too. When someone feels they have to cheat in order to succeed (whether it’s Barry Bonds in baseball, Bob Baffert in horse racing or Donald Trump in politics), there’s simply no justification for robbing the public of their victory as well.
Free pass for unvaccinated: As a fully vaccinated individual, it’s nice to know that the CDC says I’m no longer required to wear a mask. But at the same time I’m worried that people who have refused to wear a mask all along now have a perfect excuse to display their naked faces. After all, how many shop owners, restaurant managers and part-time bouncers are going to ask to see a patron’s vaccination card before allowing them through the front door?
Face masks not a political statement: When did not wearing a face mask become a loyalty oath for Trump Republicans? Can’t we keep partisanship out of the equation when it comes to saving lives?
Sore losers on both sides: The Democrats never accepted the election results of 2016. The Republicans have questioned the results of the 2020 election. We should be able to get the facts so that election results will be honest and reliable. That way there would be no more sore losers.
Even UK demanding voter IDs: I just heard last night that the UK will require picture IDs in any federal election. See, the rest of the world knows that this last election was a farce.
Protection in prison? Just curious, once Donald Trump has been indicted, tried, convicted and sentenced, will he still be entitled to Secret Service protection while serving time in federal prison?
Thanks for nothing: All you people who voted for Biden/Harris did a good job of screwing the economy up. Gas prices are going up and everything else. Thanks a lot.
