After months of remote and hybrid learning, Libertyville District 70 welcomed students back inslde all five district schools for a full-day schedule, five days a week.

Students were in their classroom seat for the 8:15 a.m. first period bell starting April 12 at Adler Park, Butterfield, Copeland Manor and Rockland elementary schools. The first bell for Highland Middle School rang at 8:50 that Monday morning.

Upon arrival at Butterfield School, students were greeted by district officials and the school mascot.

Students and staff throughout the district are expected to follow a list of county, state and national public health guidelines, officials expalined.
