A 49-year-old Lockport man was ordered held on $150,000 bail Thursday, facing charges of possession of child pornography, police said Thursday.
Anthony J. Leonardi was arrested at his Lockport home Wednesday by officers with the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation, and was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, both of which are felonies, police said.
Police launched an investigation after receiving information Leonardi was allegedly engaged in possession of child pornography, and during a Wednesday search of his residence, investigators seized evidence supporting an arrest, police said.
Leonardi remained at the Will County Jail after being ordered held on $150,000 bail, records show.
